摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a three dimensional coordinate measuring apparatus which can measure a long distance. CONSTITUTION:The three dimensional coordinate measuring apparatus is composed of an apparatus body and of a staff. The rotation part of the apparatus body is turned, and beams of planar light are radiated from a first light sending means and a second light sending means. At least three corner prisms are attached to the staff. When light is radiated to them, beams of light are returned to a light receiving part. A horizontal angle at a moment when beams of light are input to the light receiving part is detected, and a geometrical processing operation is executed. Then, the three dimensional coordinates of a measuring point in which the staff is arranged can be computed. Then, when an especially long distance is measured, a convex lens 101 and cylindrical lenses 106, 109 as light condensing means are installed in the light receiving means, and beams of planar light 102, 106, 110 which are reflected by the corner prisms are condensed respectively. Then, a quantity of received light is increased, and the time of a light receiving operation can be made long.
