PURPOSE: To obtain a CD-R recording medium having high reflectivity and excellent in storage stability and reproduction stability by adding a phthalocyanine compd. wherein a substituent composed of an alkyl group, a silyl group or an aryl group and a substituent composed of a fluorine substituted (oxa)alkyl group is introduced into a benzene ring of a phthalocyanine skeleton through an 0 (or S) atom to a recording layer. CONSTITUTION: In a write-once compact disk type (CD-R) recording medium wherein a recording layer is provided on a substrate and a protective layer is provided thereon, the recording layer contains at least one kind of a phthalocyanine compd. represented by formula (wherein M is a divalent, trivalent or tetravalent metal atom which may have two hydrogen atoms, halogen atoms or oxygen atoms, X<1> -X<4> are an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom, R<1> -R<4> are a 1-20C straight chain, branched chain or alicyclic alkyl group which may be substituted, a silyl group or an aryl group which may be substituted, Y<1> -Y<4> are a 1-14C fluorine substituted alkyl group or a fluorine substituted oxyalkyl group and, at a time of k+l+m+n+o+p+q+n<16, the other substituent of a benzene ring is a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom). |
