PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilator with a sound insulation function which is not only light so as to decrease an influence applied to the strength of a building, but also extremely low in its work and assembly cost due to a simple structure. SOLUTION: In a sound absorbing part 15 provided in the exhaust port 11 of a ventilating part 12 provided in the roof ridge of the building 1, a plurality of sound absorbing plates 16 made of glass wool or rock fibers are disposed at substantially equal intervals. Each space between the adjacent sound absorbing plates 16 is formed as an air flow passage in the exhaust port 11. When pitch between roof truss beam materials of the roof ridge is about 2,000 to 3,000 mm or smaller, the weight of one sound insulation plate 16 is suppressed to such light-weight as to manually handle the plate by a person. The light- weight sound insulation plates 16 can be attached to the roof truss beam materials one by one under an efficient and safe work. |
