he present invention concerns the design, the synthesis and the study of the radio-labelling of the heptadecapeptide analogue of Bombesin (BN). The principal structure has been modified, so that coupling with radiometals is possible, without modification of the biological action of the peptide. The invention involves the synthesis of the peptide, its purification, its identification, its characterisation and the control of its chronic and acute toxicity. Furthermore, the methodology of labelling it with the radionuclides technetium -99 m and rhenium - 188, as well as study of the radiochemical behaviour of labelled analogues. Finally, it involves their radiobiological assessment in natural test animals and pathological standards and the development of a kit for the clinical application in the diagnosis and therapy of primary and metastasis tumours.
