The present invention relates to a device for producing one or plural branch es off a medium-containing pipe (10), comprising a two-part unit (20), intended to be clamped on said pipe (10), consisting of a lower part (22) and an upper part (24), wherein f or each branch, two opposing apertures (16, 18) are provided in said pipe (10) transverse to the pipe axis, with said lower part (22) exhibiting a through passage (30) for the fluid medium which tightly fits on said lower aperture (18), said upper part (24) exhibiting a valve insert fitting in said upper aperture (16), both said parts (22, 24) being clamped firmly on said pipe (10), with a flowmeter (26) for the fluid medium as well as a temperature measuring devic e (28) being provided in said upper part (24).
