The invention relates to a rotating transmitter/receiver cylinder system which is used to capture the current from the catenary and power the traction motors of the electrical machines of a train. For this purpose, the small cylindrical plate captures the current from the catenary and transmits same to the traction motors of the train. The configuration of said cylinder ensures that coupling cannot occur with the catenary during the continuous contact and friction between both parts. Since the connection is more uniform, the cylinder transmits the voltage in a more continuous manner, thereby preventing sparking and the subsequent release of incandescent particles of material which, upon contact with a dry field, normally cause fires. The inventive cylinder system does not generate stray currents which destroy the installations. |
