PURPOSE: A select detent structure of a manual transmission is provided to reduce the number of parts, to improve part processing and assembling efficiencies, to simplify the layout, and to cut down the manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION: A select detent structure of a manual transmission comprises three grooves(31) formed on the outside of a crank lever(30) mounted to a change rod(10) with corresponding to the length of select stroke; a detent(40) installed to an axle housing(50) corresponding to the groove and composed of a plug(41), a spring(42), and a steel ball(43); a reverse projection protruded from the outer peripheral surface of one end of the groove of the crank lever; and a back-up lamp switch(60) mounted to the axle housing in the rotational direction of the reverse projection as the crank lever rotates.
