The arrangement has at least one image sensor (5), at least one presence or motion detector (6) and control and evaluation electronics (2) contg. a processing stage (4) for local signal evaluation connected to the image sensor(s) and detector(s). The processing stage performs a combined evaluation of the signals from the image sensor(s) and presence or motion detector(s). Each image which has caused an alarm in combination with the detector signal is stored.
