PURPOSE: A method for driving a plasma display panel is provided to increase a driving margin by broadening a data pulse width during residual time. CONSTITUTION: A scan signal is simultaneously applied to a pair of scan electrode lines among a plurality of first and second scan electrode lines. A ramp pulse(RP) is applied to each of the first scan electrode lines to occur a reset discharge during a reset period(RPD). A first scan pulse and a data pulse are simultaneously applied to address electrode lines during an address period(APD). The first scan pulse is applied to each of the first scan electrode lines. The data pulse has one of first and second data voltage levels. A sustain pulse(SUSPy) is alternatively applied to the first scan electrode lines and first sustain electrode lines. The second scan electrode lines are driven by a selective erasing manner. |
