IMAGE-BASED MOTION REPRODUCING METHOD USING EXAMPLE MOTION

PURPOSE: An image-based motion reproducing method using an example motion is provided to easily make various actions of a person only with several captured motions. CONSTITUTION: A reference motion similar to a target motion is selected from a motion library(10) in which motion information is stored. A time correspondence relation between the reference motion and an input image is set by time warping the reference motion(S100). The warped reference motion is spatially warped again using two-dimensional characteristic points obtained from the image. Articulation angles are obtained. An appropriate motion of the highest joint is made on the basis of continuous posture information items obtained through the aforementioned steps and motion information obtained from the image and dynamic information attained from the reference motion(S300).
