PURPOSE: An automatic shampooing apparatus is provided to shampoo hair sanitarily while saving shampooing time and labor and allow a patient to shampoo hair by itself conveniently in a lying state and prevent the damage of skin due to a toxic hairdye. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises: a casing provided with a head receptacle portion, a neck backing portion and a cover; a shampooing bowl(20) disposed within the casing in a manner to surround the head and provided with a sensor, a plurality of fingers(22) and a nozzle(23); a movable member(30) rotatably supporting the shampooing bowl(20) and moving the same forward and backward; a driving member(40) reciprocally rotating the shampooing bowl(20) so as to draw a circle like the perimeter of the head; a water feed portion(60), a shampoo container(70), a rinse container and a dryer(90) connected to the nozzle(23) via a spray pipe(50) so as to spray water, shampoo, rinse and air into the shampooing bowl(20); a shampooing bowl aid(100) disposed on a lower part of the movable member(30) and provided with a plurality of combs; a vibrating member vibrating the shampooing bowl aid(100) to the left and the right; and a controller automatically controlling the operation of the above elements.
