PURPOSE: A front shoe device for the effective section enlargement of a steel pipe pile is provided to cut down the construction expenses by reducing the usage of high-priced steel pipe piles and the cost required for driving a pile. CONSTITUTION: The front shoe device(10) for the effective section enlargement of a steel pipe pile(1) comprises: horizontal units(11) containing ground inlets for making the ground placed in a steel pipe pile(1) when placing a steel pipe pile(1) and reducing the opening section of a steel pipe pile(1) by closing the remaining section of a steel pipe pile(1); and many vertical ribs(14) for supporting the horizontal units(11).
