PURPOSE: A data filter for a TFT-LCD(Thin Film Transistor-Liquid Crystal Display) driver is provided to reduce an area by providing a data filter formed of six transistors to every data bit, thereby reducing power consumption. CONSTITUTION: A CMOS(Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) transistor(100), an inversion element, formed of a PMOS transistor(P-channel Metal Oxide Semiconductor)(101) and an NMOS transistor(N-channel Metal Oxide Semiconductor)(102) converts data bit into a complement value of 1. In the case that a data conversion enable signal is at a high level, the converted data is provided to a data conversion element(200) through another NMOS transistor(104) as an output signal. In the case that the data conversion enable signal is at a low level, the data bit is provided to the data conversion element through another PMOS transistor(103) as an output signal. The data conversion element outputs a high level signal of a power voltage as filtered data if a white enable signal is at a low level, or outputs the output signal of the CMOS transistor as filtered data if the white enable signal is at a low level. |
