PURPOSE: A portable terminal is provided to offer an optical zooming function in order to prevent resolution from being deteriorated due to zooming. CONSTITUTION: A camera mounting part in a portable terminal is comprised of a camera(40), a zoom lens(110), and a zoom lens coupling unit. The camera(40) is installed inside of a hinge coupling part. The zoom lens(110) is installed at the front part of the camera(40). The zoom lens coupling unit is coupled so that the zoom lens(110) can be moved back and forth for the camera(40). A lens hole(42) is formed at one end side of the camera. At the lateral side of the camera(40), threads(141) are formed. The zoom lens coupling unit comprises a zoom lens case(150). At the zoom lens case(150), threads(154) are formed so as to be coupled with the threads of the camera(40). Also the zoom lens coupling unit comprises a fixing part(153) to fix the zoom lens(110).
