PURPOSE: A source driver circuit of a liquid crystal display device and a testing method thereof are provided to reduce the testing cost and time by providing an output of a frame memory to an outside and applying data to the source driver to test the liquid crystal display device. CONSTITUTION: A frame memory(21) reads one row data in parallel. A latch(22) stores in parallel the one row data from the frame memory(21) in a normal mode. In a test mode of the frame memory(21), the latch(22) inputs in parallel the one row data from the frame memory(21) by an internal load signal and outputs in serial the one row data to an outside in synchronization with a serial clock applied from an outside. In a test mode of a source driver(23), the latch(22) inputs in serial one row data from an outside in synchronization with the serial clock. The source driver(23) inputs in parallel the one row data provided from the frame memory(21) through the latch(22) or the one row data from an outside.
