PURPOSE: A translation and interpretation service system in a mobile communication network and a method therefor are provided to clear up the inconvenience of a string translation service system by using a wired Internet network. CONSTITUTION: A translation and interpretation service system consists of a user equipment(110) and a mobile/wireless Internet network(120). The user equipment(110) indicates a mobile or wireless Internet terminal which can transmit images. The mobile/wireless Internet network(120) connects the user equipment(110) with a server system(130) that executes a service of text translation or symbol interpretation. The server system(130) comprises an input-output and service management function(140), a text translation and symbol interpretation function(150), and a charging function(160). The input-output and service management function(140) receives information and a request from the user equipment(110) and verifies the validity of the received data and request. The text translation and symbol interpretation function(150) recognizes the contents of an image or a symbol transmitted from the user equipment(110) and converts them according to the user's requirements. The charging function(160) charges service fees. |
