WASHING MACHINE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING WASHING OF SHOES

PURPOSE: A washing machine and a washing control method for shoes are provided to remove dirt from the shoe efficiently by sprinkling water into the inside of the shoe with rotating and reversing a motor for agitating a pulsator corresponding to rinsing and washing shoes. CONSTITUTION: A washing machine includes a shoe installation unit mounting shoes; a key input unit(110) receiving a washing signal for shoes from a user; a motor(131) rotating and agitating a pulsator with rotating or reversing; and a control unit(100) controlling the motor based on predetermined rotating and reversing time of the motor in inputting the shoe washing signal through the key input unit. Selection of the shoe washing course is decided, and shoes are washed and rinsed according to operation time of the motor in selecting the shoe washing course. The input end of the control unit is connected to the key input unit and a water level detecting unit(111), and the output end of the control unit is connected to a valve driving unit(120) and a motor driving unit(130).
