PURPOSE: A height adjustable retainer is provided to allow a user to commonly use the retainer regardless of variation of thickness of a member, to which the retainer is attached, by adjusting the height of the retainer. CONSTITUTION: A height adjustable retainer includes an outer case section(50), and a screw section(30). A predetermined gap is formed between an upper protrusion of the outer case section(50) and a lower wing section. The predetermined gap is varied depending on a moving distance of the screw section(30). The lower wing section is downwardly moved when a thickness variation of two members inserted between an upper surface of the lower wing section and a lower surface of an outer case protrusion is excessively varied. That is, the up/down movement of the lower wing section is carried out according to the thickness variation of two members.
