PURPOSE: A combustion apparatus for non-reacted oxygen in electric furnace is provided to prevent non-reacted oxygen from getting out through the gas port ring by injecting heated carbon powder into the electric furnace through gas port ring so that the heated carbon powder is reacted with the non-reacted oxygen. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a carbon preheating means for heating carbon powder using high temperature of fume exhausted from the electric furnace(10); and a carbon injection means for injecting the preheated carbon powder into the electric furnace through gas port ring, wherein the carbon preheating means comprises a housing(60) connected to an upper part of elbow(40) of electric furnace roof(20) so that fume of high temperature is circulated in the housing, a carbon powder hopper(61) installed inside the housing, a supply pipe(62) connected to an upper part of the hopper to supply carbon powder to the hopper, and a carbon transfer pipe(63) installed at a lower part of the hopper and extended to the gas port ring through one side of the housing, and wherein the carbon injection means comprises ring shaped distribution pipes installed along an upper part of the gas port ring and connected to the transfer pipe, carbon injection holes(71) formed along a lower part of the inner circumferential surface of the gas port ring with being spaced apart from each other in a certain distance, connection holes connected to the distribution pipes and connected to the respective injection holes through an inner part of the gas port ring, and an inert gas pipe(73) connected to one side of the transfer pipe to supply inert gas of high pressure for carbon injection to the transfer pipe.
