PURPOSE: A grinding oil basin for a single frame lens grinder is provided to move only spindle and to prevent the movement of the oil basin at the grinding process of a grinder. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of spindles(31) are inserted into a grinding oil basin(30) fixed on a main body of a grinder at the operation of a handle. A pressing rod is inserted into a notch groove of a grinding die with grinding materials to grind the lens on the spindles. A nozzle provides grinding oil between the lens and the grinding materials. An elongated hole(30a) with a flange(30b) is formed at the grinding oil basin(30) having a drainage for the grinding oil. A packing(40) is provided at the flange to move with the spindles. The packing has curvature corresponding to that of the grinding oil basin to cover the elongated hole. The packing includes a horizontal plate(41), a vertical plate(43), and a hollow holder(42).
