摘要 PURPOSE: Provided are a method and an apparatus for sample injection in gas chromatography, which significantly increase the injection volume of a sample, and permit high-accuracy analysis of high-boiling-point compounds, low-boiling-point compounds and thermally decomposable compounds. CONSTITUTION: The method for sample injection in gas chromatography comprises the steps of: injecting a sample through a curved or crooked sample path into a vaporizing chamber formed of continuous inner walls; temporarily holding the sample in a holding chamber provided in the vaporizing chamber; vaporizing an objective compound; and introducing the objective compound into a separation column. In addition, the apparatus(1) for sample injection in gas chromatography comprises a vaporizing chamber(6), a syringe introducing portion(2) installed above the vaporizing chamber(6), and a separation column-connecting portion(16) installed under the vaporizing chamber(6). In the apparatus, the vaporizing chamber(6) has a curved or crooked sample path and continuous inner walls, and comprises a holding chamber for temporarily holding the sample in the vaporizing chamber(6).
