PURPOSE: A non-cushion type chair is provided to minimize the load of muscles, ligaments and discs of a lumbar region to prevent the pelvis from turning backward upon taking a seat by maintaining a smoothly curved angle of the lumbar upon taking a seat. CONSTITUTION: In the non-cushion type chair, the user's body is directly contacted to a back plate(10) and a seat plate(12). A horizontal line(HL) passing a reference point(c) set on the back part of the seat plate(12), a sloping line(SL) passing a lumbar contact point(b) set on the middle part of the seat plate(12), and a dorsal spine contact point(a) set on the upper part of the back plate(10) have an angle of 95 to 100 degrees therebetween.
