ELECTRON GUN FOR COLOR CATHODE RAY TUBE

PURPOSE: An electron gun for cathode ray tube is provided to improve an image quality of a screen by improving an electrode structure constituting main lens part of an electron gun. CONSTITUTION: An electron gun for cathode ray tube comprises a focus electrode(40) mounted on a neck part, an anode electrode(400) mounted opposite to the focus electrode and constituting a main lens part, and a parallel electrode(44,440) mounted on at least one inner electrode of the focus electrode and the anode electrode. The parallel electrode is arranged in a direction cross to the inline direction of the electron gun and includes a burying part(46,460) with a predetermined depth along the edge portion on which an electron beam through hole is formed.
