PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method are provided to achieve improved injection analysis capability by automatically measuring the flow rate of the liquid injected from the injector in a real time basis. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a rectangular collector(60) for collecting the liquid injected from an injector(50); a driving unit(80) for rotating the end of the collector centering from the concentric shaft of the injector; a drain hose(66) connected to the collector, which drains the liquid collected in the collector; a reservoir(42) arranged underneath the collector, which stores the liquid drained from the drain hose; and a gauge unit(90) for gauging the flow rate of the liquid stored in the reservoir.
