PURPOSE: A storage medium storing catalog information, a system and a method for reproducing the catalog information are provided to edit a DVD-audio catalog using a DVD-video editing system and to reproduce the DVD-audio catalog using a DVD-video reproducing system. CONSTITUTION: A reproduction system reproduces audio data, catalog information related with the audio data and catalog reproduction information connecting the audio data and the catalog information in the event of reproduction from a storage medium. The system includes a storage(250) for storing the catalog information about the audio data and additional information, and a video decoder(270) for decoding the catalog information and additional information in order to generate a restored picture. The system further includes an audio decoder(260) for decoding the audio data in order to generate a restored audio signal, and a controller(240) for controlling reproduction of the catalog information in response to a user's choice and the catalog reproduction information.
