PURPOSE: A device for designating a device address of a home network is provided to enable a gate device to have one input/output network variable, and to transmit data to individual devices by using the input/output network variable, thereby removing burden on an internal memory of the gate device. CONSTITUTION: When outputting data to individual devices(210-240), a gate device(100) commonly uses an output network variable(nvo). The output network variable(nvo) corresponds to input network variables(nvi) of the 4 individual devices(210-240). When outputting data to the gate device(100) from the individual devices(210-240), the gate device(100) commonly uses an input network variables(nvi). The input network variable(nvi) corresponds to output network variables(nvo) of the 4 individual devices(210-240). The gate device(100) designates a reception address, loads the reception address into the data, and transmits the data.
