PURPOSE: A water supply control method for a washing machine is provided to prevent waste of water by feeding washing water regularly regardless of the difference between the present water level and the predetermined water level in supplying water again. CONSTITUTION: A feed valve is opened by a feed valve driving unit to supply water to a rotating tub(S100), and the water level is compared with a first predetermined water level(S102). The feed valve is closed to finish supplying water(S103), and washing is performed by agitating the rotating tub with a motor(S104). A control unit measures the water level in the rotating tub by a water level detecting unit in washing for the predetermined time(S105), and compares the present water level with a second predetermined value lower than the first predetermined value for supply water again(S106). Water is supplied again by opening the feed valve if the water level is less than the second predetermined value(S107), and the present water level is read by the control unit in feeding water again(S108). The control unit compares the present water level with a third predetermined value, and closes the feed valve for finishing supplying water(S110). |
