PURPOSE: A method for optimizing data of a curved waveform is provided to enhance a computation speed for executing a collision simulation by using a curve fitting analysis. CONSTITUTION: The test data from an actual test is used as the standard coordinates for collision. An input value for coordinates on a curve is prepared as a combination of the coordinates value of parameters matched with the test data, and is inputted. After parsing the input value, a scale for setting up a scale factor for fitting the coordinates values on the curve is set. The analysis for the first curve fitting result value based on the scale is started, and the standard coordinates and an analysis result are compared after parsing the result value. In case that the deviation between the standard coordinates and the coordinates values of the analysis result is over a set value, all steps for minimizing the deviation are repeated. In the case that the deviation is under the set value, the analysis result is stored.
