KNOB PACKING STRUCTURE FOR COOKING UTENSIL

PURPOSE: A knob packing structure is provided to achieve improved sealing effects and durability of cooking utensil, while reducing manufacturing costs. CONSTITUTION: A knob packing structure comprises a casing in which a valve body having a rotating shaft(11) is mounted; a burner unit disposed in the casing; an upper plate member(40) mounted on the casing so as to close the top of the casing, wherein the upper plate member has a rotating hole(41) for penetration of the rotating shaft of the valve body; a knob(50) supported by the rotating shaft of the valve body, which has a support body(51) with a shaft support groove(52); and a packing(60) arranged at the bottom of the knob and the rotating shaft of the valve body so as to maintain an airtightness. The packing includes a through hole(61) for penetration of the rotating shaft of the valve body, a mounting groove(62) covering the outer surface of the support body of the knob, a stepped portion(63) formed downward from the center of the main body of the packing, a stopper protrusion(65) formed at the end of the stepped portion, and a sealing member(66) tightly contacting the upper plate member.
