摘要 PURPOSE: An organic electroluminescence device and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to reduce the thickness of the device and costs, while achieving improved yield rate by eliminating the process of etching the substrate for mounting an absorbent. CONSTITUTION: An organic electroluminescence device comprises a first substrate(100) on which a plurality of pixels are defined; a switching element connected to the driving element constituted by a gate electrode, a source electrode and a drain electrode; a power line connected to a gate line and a data line connected to the gate electrode and the source electrode of the driving element, respectively, and the source electrode of the switching element; a first electrode(124) connected to the drain electrode of the switching element; an organic light emitting layer formed on the first electrode; a second electrode(128) formed on the organic light emitting layer; a first sealant pattern(130) and a second sealant pattern(132) spaced apart from each other and arranged along the circumference of the first substrate; an absorbent(134) arranged between the first and second sealant patterns; and a second substrate(200) attached to the first substrate by the first and second sealant patterns.
