PURPOSE: Provided are a cancer cell-growth inhibitor comprising POH 1 gene or POH 1 protein, as one of subunits of the regulatory particle of proteasome, and the preparation method and use thereof. CONSTITUTION: A cancer cell-growth inhibitor is characterized by comprising POH 1 gene of SEQ ID NO:1 or POH 1 protein of SEQ ID NO:2. It is prepared by expressing pLNCX2 vector containing POH1 gene of SEQ ID NO:1. The cancer cell is characteristically a lung cancer cell.
