GROUND STABILIZATION DEVICE AND METHOD

PURPOSE: A ground stabilization device is provided to prevent the breakdown of an incline and to stabilize the ground by increasing shear resistance. CONSTITUTION: The ground stabilization device contains a metal tube(10) extended to the appointed length, a front end fixture(20) fixed to the front end of the metal tube(10), a rear end fixture(20a) fixed to the rear end of the metal tube(10), and strands(30) interposed to the metal tube(10) and connected to the front end fixture(20) and the rear end fixture(20a) respectively. The ground stabilization method comprises the steps of perforating a fitting hole on the ground, tensioning a strand(30) of the ground stabilization device to provide tensile force to the strand(30) and interposing a metal tube(10) to the fitting hole after occurring shear resistance of a steel tube, placing cement paste into the fitting hole to be unified with the ground stabilization device, and curing the cement paste, then fixing the strand(30) by a pressure plate.
