INDEX STRUCTURE OF METADATA, METHOD FOR OFFERING METADATA INDEX, AND METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SEARCHING METADATA USING METADATA INDEX

PURPOSE: An index structure of metadata, a method for offering a metadata index, and the method and a device for searching the metadata using the metadata index are provided to search a complex condition for a TVA(TV-Anytime) metadata at the same time, and to shorten a search time and increase efficiency of a receiver by reducing overhead of the receiver in case of the complex condition search for the TVA metadata. CONSTITUTION: An input part(1100) receives the search condition. A controller(1400) searches a value of a multi-key corresponding to the inputted search condition from the metadata index, and extracts the corresponding metadata by using the value of the searched multi-key. A receiving part(1200) receives the metadata. A storing part(1300) stores the metadata and the metadata index. An output part(1500) outputs a search result by the controller.
