PURPOSE: An information storage medium for storing information for generating a DTV stream, a method and an apparatus for converting the DTV stream are provided to convert data recorded on an optical disc to streams reproduced by a digital TV. CONSTITUTION: An information storage medium stores a multi-stream(21), interactive contents(22), and reproduction control information including conversion information for converting the multi-stream and/or interactive contents to digital TV streams. The multi-stream includes an MPEG-2 program stream, MPEG-4 format stream, MPEG-7 and/or Wavelet transform format stream. The reproduction control information includes identification information and control information for controlling the generation of DTV stream. The reproduction control information further includes management information and search information for reproducing the multi-stream and interactive contents.
