PURPOSE: An induction heating cooking device is provided to secure an electric safety of the induction heating cooking device in an emergency of abnormalities of a top plate, and reduce an electric field generated and leaked from an induction heating coil as a heat source as well. CONSTITUTION: An upper body case(3) includes an opened upper part. A top plate(30) is installed on a plane made of a ceramic material arranged on a top face of the upper body case. A plurality of induction heating coils(22) are arranged at an opening position in the upper body case. A control base board(23) has a control part for electrically controlling an output of each induction heating coil. A tabular shielding plate(27) is made of a conductive material fitted on the top face of the upper body case in opposition to the top plate above the induction heating coils and the control substrate and below the top plate for closing the opening of the upper body case.
