PURPOSE: A wheel assembly for a roller blade is provided to control the rotation of the roller blade in one direction, and thus to prevent accidents caused by the reverse rotation of the roller blade. CONSTITUTION: The wheel assembly for controlling the one-directional rotation of a roller blade includes a rubber wheel(4); an outer lace(6) for anchoring the rubber wheel(4) to an outside surface, and having a spline gear(16) and outer ball seats(18) at both sides; a shaft for forming inner ball seats(20) opposed to the outer ball seats(18) at an outer surface of a main pivot and an auxiliary pivot(24), and mounting on a mounting flange(26); a ball bearing situated between the outer ball seats and the inner ball seats(20) and reducing friction therebetween; a lever shaft(12) formed by passing through the main pivot, and adjusting a rotational direction of the roller blade; and a ratchet gear(14) for controlling forward/reverse rotations of the rubber wheel(4).
