PURPOSE: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) cell is provided to reduce power consumption by partially charging a source line with electricity by adding a switching element for separating or connecting the source line. CONSTITUTION: A thin film transistor(131) is connected to a gate line(110) and a source line(120) respectively. A capacitor(132) has one end which is connected to the thin film transistor and the other end to which a common voltage is applied. A switching element electrically breaks off the source line according to a gate driving signal applied to the gate line. The switching element is formed of a P-type thin film transistor(145) of which a gate is connected to the gate line, and a source and a drain connected to the source line. The thin film transistor is turned on by a driving signal of high level for driving the gate line, so a voltage value is provided to the capacitor from a source driver. The P-type thin film transistor of the switching element is turned off by the driving signal of high level. |
