PURPOSE: A system for detecting and displaying unattended shop names is provided to achieve a speedy measure by enabling a call center counselor to confirm a called shop name and a client's equipment number. CONSTITUTION: A system for detecting and displaying unattended shop names consists a terminal(10) connected with a telephone(32) installed in an unattended shop and a caller ID display(20) connected with a counselor telephone(38) installed in a call center. The terminal(10) is connected with the caller ID display(20) through a PSTN(34). A PABX/PBX server(36) is installed in the call center. The terminal(10), previously memorizing caller location information as a fixed intrinsic code, transmits the fixed intrinsic code in the form of a DTMF tone, based on a specific tone transmitted from the caller ID display(20). The caller ID display(20) receives the intrinsic code DTMF tone of the terminal(10), acquires caller location information from the intrinsic code, and displays the acquired information on the screen.
