PURPOSE: Installation structure for a spare tire is provided to prevent noise and discomfort by storing the spare tire firmly and enlarging the contact area with placing the upper part of the spare tire to a suspension cross member directly and assembling the rear part of the spare tire with the lower part of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A spare tire(30) is mounted in the lower part of a vehicle, and a storage groove(12) is formed in the lower part of a vehicle body to contact and fix the spare tire to the vehicle body. The front of the spare tire is placed in a suspension cross member(20), and the rear part of the spare tire is fastened by a support unit(200) combined with the lower part of the vehicle body. A recessed part(22) is formed in the suspension cross member corresponding to the shape of the spare tire. Thus, the spare tire is placed stably and fixed firmly by enlarging the contact area of the front of the spare tire.
