DC REACTOR EQUIPPED WITH THERMAL LINK

PURPOSE: A DC reactor is provided to reduce manufacturing costs and prevent the superconductive state of the superconducting magnet from being quenched by the heat of the coil. CONSTITUTION: A DC reactor comprises a housing(1); a Gifford-McMahon cryocooler(10) having a head(11) exposed from the top of the housing, and an upper cooling unit(13) and a lower cooling unit(15) arranged in the housing in such a manner that the upper cooling unit is supported by support rods(3a,5a); a superconducting magnet(30) connected to the lower cooling unit of the Gifford-McMahon cryocooler through a cooling rod(29), and supported by the support rods(3b,5b,5c); and a thermal link(20) for connecting the double cable constituted by a metal cable(23) and an HTS cable(25) to the Gifford-McMahon cryocooler.
