PURPOSE: A hose for a vacuum cleaner is provided to form the hose to have a reinforcement portion forming a plate integral with a reverse U-shaped protrusion so as to maintain the original shape of the hose without separate parts. CONSTITUTION: Reverse U-shaped protrusions(20) are formed on one end(11a) of a plate(11) of synthetic resin material(10) to contain an electric wire(40). Hook type protrusions(30) are formed at the other end(11b) of the plate in a certain distance to the reverse U-shaped protrusions to obtain flexibility of the hose with the distance between the protrusions. The hook type protrusions are superpositioned onto the reverse U-shaped protrusions to fix hooks of the hook type protrusions onto a side wall of the reverse U-shaped protrusions with an adhesive by winding the hook type protrusions in a spiral shape.
