PURPOSE: To provide a plasma display panel of high luminance and high light emission efficiency that can be stably actuated. CONSTITUTION: This plasma display panel of a matrix type comprises a plurality of first electrodes extended in parallel to a row direction, a second electrode disposed in parallel to the first electrodes, and a partition wall to part a display zone in a column direction. At least either the first electrode or the second electrode comprises a first part to form a discharge gap to an adjoining electrode, and a second part formed on the side opposite to the discharge gap to adjoin the first part. The first part is formed linear to form the discharge gap in the row direction. The second part is formed of a third part positioned on the first part, and a fourth part positioned on a line segment parallel to the first part to part the display zone in the row direction. |
