PURPOSE: A quick match and one to one chatting method using short messages in mobile phones is provided to improve an existing quick match and chatting service in a mobile phone. CONSTITUTION: The user of a mobile phone(210) transmits a quick match initiation message and a query, expressing the private information range of a desired quick match partner, to an intermediary system(240) through a short message. The intermediary system(240) analyzes the received short message and extracts the caller's mobile phone number and the received message. Based on the information of the extracted short message, the intermediary system(240) selects the optimum chatting partner from a subscriber database. Then the intermediary system(240) compares the extracted mobile phone number with a stored MIN(Mobile Identification Number) in order to identify the user who has made a request for the chatting service. The intermediary system(240) arbitrarily selects a conformable partner from a table and transmits a short message to inform the selected partner that the chatting request has been made from the user. |
