PURPOSE: A wireless Internet access method and system is provided to easily access a web site corresponding to a specific URL by inputting only an abbreviated key. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal sets up a web browsing mode according to a user's operation(501). The user drives a wireless web browser after inputting an abbreviated key in a standby screen mode(503). The mobile terminal searches for a corresponding URL using the inputted abbreviated key(505). Then the mobile terminal judges whether the URL corresponding to the abbreviated key exists(507). If the corresponding URL exists, the mobile terminal executes web browsing using the corresponding URL(509) and accesses a web site corresponding to the URL(511). However, in case that the URL corresponding to the abbreviated key doesn't exist, the mobile terminal creates and displays an error message to indicate that the URL corresponding to the abbreviated key is not found(513). |
