PURPOSE: A manifold gauge for detecting malfunction of a refrigeration cycle and a method thereof are provided to allow a user to precisely detect the malfunction of the refrigeration cycle in a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A manifold gauge(50) includes a low-pressure manifold gauge(1), a high-pressure manifold gauge(60), and a coolant gas injection section(90). The high-pressure manifold gauge(60) includes a casing(61) having a cylindrical shape, a bourdon tube installed in the casing(61), a fixing instrument plate(70) installed at the front of the casing(61) so as to block the bourdon tube, and a rotating plate(80) rotatably installed in the casing(61). A needle(63) is rotated corresponding to an elastic deformation of the bourdon tube. Scales are formed on the fixing instrument plate(70) and the rotating plate(80) to read pressure and temperature.
