PURPOSE: Antenna-shaped umbrella ribs are provided to improve the structure of an umbrella and thus, to prevent backlash of the ribs when a user opens the umbrella, and to enhance strength and suppress deformity of the ribs under stormy wind. CONSTITUTION: The antenna-shaped umbrella ribs(100) are composed of large, medium, small-diameter ribs(1,2,3). The large-diameter rib(1) includes a hook, an insertion groove and guidance groove with a designated width, a backlash preventing projection, a fixed rib for fixing an auxiliary rib by a pin, and an umbrella fabric connecter. The medium-diameter rib includes a cutting groove, guidance, and hook. Lastly, the small-diameter rib includes an elastic guiding plate, and a cap for assembling the large, medium and small sized ribs together, and having an umbrella fabric connecting hole.
