PURPOSE: A plastic sheet bag having tightening string with string containing unit is provided to make the compact containment or insertion of tightening string into the bag body on being packed, transported or displayed. CONSTITUTION: For the plastic sheet bag having a tightening string(10) with string containing unit, an air-mass hanger(10a) of the tightening string(10) is hung and inserted into one end side of a welded edge(5) in the lower part of the bottom of a bottom-bulged bag(1) having a joint edge of its plastic sheet welded, and at the same time, an unwelded opening(12) is formed in some parts of other end side of the welded edge(5). The tightening string(10) is extended through the empty spaces in lower part of the bulged bottom and its front end can be hung on the unwelded opening(12).
