APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR FEEDING PAPERS IN IMAGING DEVICE

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for feeding papers in an imaging device are provided to detect whether or not a paper is entered into a paper feeding route by using a media sensor. CONSTITUTION: A paper feeding apparatus includes a pickup roller(110), a driver roller(120), a feed roller(130), a media sensor(300) and a controller. The pickup roller(110) picks up a paper stacked on a paper stacking section and conveys the paper into a paper feeding route. The drive roller(120) is rotated by a line feed motor so as to covey the paper provided in the paper feeding route. The feed roller(130) is rotated by means of the line feed motor so as to align the paper when the paper reaches the drive roller(120) and convey the paper to a printing device. The media sensor(300) is installed on the paper feeding route.
