PURPOSE: A dual panel type organic electroluminescence device and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to achieve improved yield rate and allow for ease of design of thin film transistor. CONSTITUTION: A dual panel type organic electroluminescence device comprises a first substrate(110) and a second substrate(150) having sub-pixel areas; an array element layer(140) formed at the inner surface of the first substrate, and which has a thin film transistor formed into a sub-pixel unit; a first electrode(152) formed at the inner surface of the second substrate; an organic electroluminescence layer(154) formed at the lower surface of the first electrode; a second electrode(156) formed at the lower surface of the organic electroluminescence layer; and a connection pattern(132) formed on the array element layer and connected to the thin film transistor, wherein the connection pattern is made of a low-melting point metal material contacting the lower surface of the second electrode. The light emitted from the organic electroluminescence layer is directed toward the first electrode. The contact area of the connection pattern contacting the second electrode is larger than the connection area of the connection pattern arranged in the vicinity of the contact area.
