PURPOSE: A fuel supply device of a fuel cell is provided, to allow additional hydrogen and oxygen to be supplied when the load output of a fuel cell increases rapidly, thereby preventing the accident due to the lack of hydrogen and oxygen. CONSTITUTION: The fuel supply device comprises a stack(13) which comprises a fuel electrode(13b) where hydrogen or a hydrogen-containing fuel material is supplied, an air electrode(13c) where oxygen or an oxygen-containing oxidizing agent is supplied and an electrolyte membrane(13a) placed between the two electrodes, and generates the electricity and the heat by the electrochemical reaction of hydrogen (fuel material) and oxygen; a hydrogen supply part(30) which communicates with the stack, detects the load output of the consumption of the electricity generated at the stack and supplies additional hydrogen to the fuel supply part of the stack if the load output increases; and an oxygen supply part(40) which communicates with the stack, detects the load output of the consumption of the electricity generated at the stack and supplies additional oxygen to the fuel supply part of the stack if the load output increases. |
